CWLC #43 - You lift me up

 Hi everyone!

It's nice to see you all again. Today here at US we celebrate the Memorial Day. It is important to remember everyone who put their lives on the line for us. Even thou, I was not born in this country, I have a great admiration and love for all of those who served in any war to protect the freedom and liberty this Great Nation has to offer. I even wore red, white and blue to church yesterday, and my girl taught me this great country song, sang by Dolly Parker - Red, White and Bluegrass. 

Anyways, getting back to fun stuff. This week at Created With Love Challenges we have for you an interesting challenge - You lift me up (use more several layers on your card). This week we are sponsored by Limited Runs Stamps. The price is three digi stamps of your choice.

I decided to create a card using this cute stamp called First Kiss. There are so many people that can receive this card, including my husband, as we are celebrating our 14th Anniversary soon. But, we'll see...

To create the card I used MME papers (I love those and probably own every collection), the stamp from Unity Stamps and Recollection resin flower.

April's Fool Day CWLC

Hi everyone,

What a busy three day weekend I had. Between cooking, cleaning and going to church for a lengthy services I am just exhausted. I am really grad that all of the cleaning and cooking is behind me and I can just enjoy celebrating Easter with my family. Especially, since kids have Spring Break this week.

Now, back to business. We have always celebrated the first of April back home. It was a special day for fun, because, on this day you can pull a prank on anyone, and they cannot get offended, no matter how silly or not your jokes are. So, in celebration of this day, we have a special challenge for you this week at Created With Love Challenges - April Fool's Day! This time around we are sponsored by Digi Darla Designs.  So, please join us with your silly creation to win a prize from Digi Darla.

I have created a very simple card this time around. I thought that this image should stand out, because, I love this Birthday Gift Rabbit.

Princess Tag - WD DT / Очікую весни теґ

This week at Whoopsi Daisy we have a very interesting challenge, again. The challenge is - Tag it! We had a very hard time with weather in the last few days. We had some numerous inches of snow on Friday - Saturday, and today we got a very heavy rain. This weather lives me really moaning for warm days of spring. This mood caused me to create this tag. 

Якось погода така паскудна останні кілька днів. То нас засипало 30см снігу, а то лиє дощ такий, що нічого не бачиш перед собою. То температура -7 цельція, то вона +7 на наступний день. Виснажливо. Дуже хочеться весни. Саме такий настрій спонукав мене створити ось такий теґ на завдання від Вупсі Дейзі - Теґ!

To create this tag I used a beautiful Linnie's image from sheet 419, which I colored using Prismacolor pencils. Here is the image closer:

 Hi everyone,

I am glad you were able to stop by. This week at Whoopsi Daisy we have a great challenge - For the baby/child.  The prize for our challenges is one sheet of greatest images by Linnie, at The Whoopsi Daisy Digi Shop.
I love her images, and when I learned that we had to make a card for a child I was asked to make a card for my daughter's friend who will be celebrating her Birthday shortly.

To create a card I used Tilda Flowergarden paper, Tilda ribbon, and paper roses.

Princess in-love / Закохана принцеса

It has been a while since I posted. With all of these Holidays and cooking and hosting dinners/parties I have been very occupied and did not really have time for crafting or posting. But, I'm glad that every Holiday is behind me, at least for the next couple of months.

Пройшло трошки часу від коли я останньо щось записувала в блозі. Якось з тими всіма гостинами і святакуваннями не було ані часу ані бажання. Тішусь, що наразі все позаду і нові святкування не почнуться принаймі наступні кілька місяців. )))

Today I would like to share with you a card I created over the weekend.

Сьогодні хочу вам показати листівочку яка мені навитворялась цих вихідних.

I used Princess Rose Red for this card. She is just so adorable  I have a couple more stamps from Krista, and I can't wait to color them as well and use it in my projects. 

В листівці я використала малюнок від Крісти, Принцеса Червона Ружа. Дякуючи своїй кумасі я маю ще декілька малюночків від цього магазину. Вони такі чудові і розмальовувати їх просто одне задоволення.

Autumn Forever Friends GDT

Hi Everyone,

Today my post is for a GDT at Forever Friends.

Over at Forever Friends this week is a very interesting fortnight challenge. Linnie, from Whoopsi Daisy is sponsoring their great challenge, and some us were asked to be a guess designer for their great challenge - Halloween/Autumn. I was one of those who volunteered and created this project. This is a triangular card with a tag.

For the tag I used the image from  Linnie's Sheet 387

I love this teenager image. It reminds me of my daughter who is soon to be a teen. Thus, I figured that they like to walk in the park, and there would be leaves falling around a teen walking through the woods.

I am a bit late with my post. This week we have a very nice challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy - Make it Girly. I have three young girls at home, so making this card was like swimming in the known waters.

В неділю стартувало нове завдання на Вупсі Дейзі - Дівочі листівки. Мені було дуже приємно і легко робити саме таку листівку, адже в мене вдома аж троє дівчат. :)

I have used a beautiful image from Sheet 355 and colored it using pencils and markers.

Я використала малюнок дівчинки-баляринки з сторінки №355, і розмалювала його олівцями і фломастирами.

Howdy! ATCs / Ковбойські АТСки

Howdy!

Few month ago I started on an ATC mania, and indeed it turned for me into a little mania. I love to do these little guys, they are just calling me every day. Thus, when I saw a challenge on the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge - A Little Bit Country/Western, I had to create these.

Кілька місяців тому, а саме в лютому, на мене напала АТС манія і тепер я хочу робити ці маленькі творіння майже щодня. Отже, коли я побачила завдання на блозі Лукаві АТСки що-середи, я не змогла втриматись. І ось що вийшло.

I used the image of a little sheriff and colored it using Prismacolor pencils. He is just SO cute. 

Я використала малюнок шеріфа і розмалювала його олівцями.

 Але ж чудний цей шеріф.

I used two sets of craft paper and twine from Twinery.

Також використано два види скрап паперу і шнури.

Today I would like to share with you a little card that I made using an image from my favorite Whoopsi Daisy digis. I call this image a girl by the wishing well. I am one of this girls that has a lot of wishes, mostly related to lack of time. So many things that I want to do, but so little time. 

Сьогодні хочу вам показати листівочку яку я зробила використовуючи малюнок - діджі штамп від Вупсі Дейзі. Я люблю їхні малюночки і часто роблю листівочки використовуючи саме ці малюночки. Я назвала цю листівку - колодязь бажань. Є таке повірря, що якщо підійти до криничка бажань і сказати їй своє бажання, це бажання обов’язково збудеться. У мене так багато мрій і бажань, і найбільша а них знайти час для всіх ідей які рояться в голові. 

Так багато хочеться зробити, проте так мало часу.

My heart I give to you

Today I would like to share with you a little card that I have created. This girl looks like me, and I always give my heart - a piece of myself, to everything I do. I give it all in my friendship and in my everyday work. 

This little girl - Precious Moments - is a bit nostalgic, because, not everyone appreciates the love we give to others. 

Сьогодні покажу вам свою листівочку яка дуже добре передає мій настрій і мій духовний світ. Я саме така дівчинка готова подарувати всім частиночку себе, і навіть своє серце. Трошки ностальгічна листівка, бо не завжди такі мої інтенції сприймаються як доброту, а є й такі, хто цим просто хоче скористатись. Проте, я продовжую віддавати часточку себе не лише своїм друзям і родині, а й роботі і листівочкам.

Here is the girl closed. I have colored her using Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers E000, E00 and R20, for the skin.

It has been a while since the last time I wrote in my blog. I returned from a wonderful trip to Ukraine, where I met with my friends. We enjoyed fresh coffee, a lot of tasty food and treats, and each other's company. I miss everyone already. It was a nice winter in Ukraine with lots of snow, considering that in New York we didn't have winter this year. It's all Spring here, which really started in January. 

Минуло трохи часу від мого останнього запису в блозі. Так склалось, що після поїздки в Україну треба було розгребти трохи роботи й інших речей, які забрали в мене більше часу ніж я сподівалась. Але я знову тут.

Поїздка в Україну була надзвичайно чудова, хоч і зимова, а від зими я давно відвикла. У нас цього року і снігу не було, лишень дощі часами падали. А так ми мали ранню весну без відвідин старої тітоньки зими. В Україні я відвідала два міста - Львів і Тернопіль. Дуже мало було у мене часу, отже вийшло, що я рівно поділила на кожне місто чоири дні. Замало!!! Проте, я була дуже рада зустрітись з чудовими людьми, побачити багато тепер вже не лишень віртуальних друзів, поласувати смачною кавусею у Львові і в Тернополі. 

Дівчатка, я за вами всіма дуже вже скучила!!!

Anyways, when I came back I learned that one of my cards, made top tree at Whoopsi Daisy challenge, which made me so happy. I love Linnie's images, they are so cute.  Thanks!

Та всеж по приїзді додому мене чекав приємний сюрприз, бо моя рожево-салатова листівочка потрапила у трійку найкращих на блозі завдань Whoopsi Daisy. Я дуже люблю їх малюночки! Отже сьогодні покажу вам нову листівочку з одним з їхніх малюночків. Цього разу було завдання зробити щось об’ємне. У мене об’ємна 3Д панянка з парасолькою.

It took me a while to sort things out, but now I can show you my new card made with Whoopsi Daisy image, for their 3D Challenge. Also you will note on the card that I have created a flowery background using the stencil and the Martha Steward pink ink.

Here you can see how I used paper piecing to create a 3D effect for the cute fancy girl.

Winter fairy-tale maiden / Дівчинка з зимової казки

Welcome!

I am such a child inside, or is this due to amount of children that surround me... Anyways, this time of season I remember all of the stories that I read as a child, all of those movies that we have seen once the winter started. Back home we were shown a lot of fairy-tales, such as Winter Queen, 12 Months (about a girl, who was told by her bad step-sister to get her some spring flowers... Thus, the girl had to go into the woods, and there she met twelve months, who of course helped her out. I love this movie!), the Father Frost or Mother Snowstorm. All of those fairy tales are about a good girl and her evil step mother, and how they make her go into the woods in the middle of cold Russian winter.

One more Russian fairy-tale that I cannot pass, which is also an opera by Rymsky-Korsakov (love opera!!!), is  The Snow-maiden. All of those pagan fairy-tales are about beautiful and open-hearted maidens, who are ready to help anyone in need.

Enough of my childhood memories... Here is the card that I have created. It depicts a maiden walking through the woods, or maybe skating :)

Я напевне в душі навіки залишусь дитиною, а може це вплив діточок які мене постійно оточують, будь це чи вдома чи в суботній школі. Саме в зимовий час мені пригадуються всі казки і кінофільми які ми дивились в дитинстві. Це такі чудові казки як, Снігова королева, 12 місяців, Морозко, Метелиця... А особливо я люблю оперу Римського-Корсакова, Снігуронька. Всі ці казки такі наповнені язичеством але водночас показують, що доброта і відкрите серце роблять чудеса.

Дуже люблю зимові казки. Саме надихнувшись казками я зробила цю листівку. Дівчинку я розмалювала олівцями, використала папір від Марти Стюарт, шнурки від Твайнері

Продовжуємо робити календар з нашим чудовим Новорічним Марафоном, 

який як ви знаєте йде повним ходом на Арт Кухні. 

Сьогодні я вам покажу перший місяць літа - місяць Червень.

And... we continue creating a calendar with Art Kitchen. Several weeks back we started a New Year's marathon - Calendar for 2012. This week we are presenting to you the first month of the summer, the month of June. 

Oбов’язковим елементом цього місяця було багато кольорових квітів. Я обрала кольорово-квітковий папір, а також додала ще діжі штамп - дівчинку з тюльпанами.

One of the requirements for this month was to show a lot of colorful flowers. For this I picked a very flowery paper and added a free digi that I found online, which of course I have colored using Prismacolor coloring pencils.

також я додала квіточки наліпки і декілька квітів зроблених діроколом.

and added a few flower stickers and some paper flowers.

Ялинка-чепуринка

Ідею цього чуда, чи чудо-ялинки я побачила в неті і мені захотілось таке щось зробити. 

Шаблону у мене не було, отже я взяла в руки лінійку і почала міряти. Виміряла три сторони в трикутника, потім зробила три трикутники з боковим виступом для склеювання.

Мені хотілось щоб це була тривка споруда, отже я її вирізала з цупкого картону, скориставшись пачкою від кукурудзяних паличок.

Зробивши основу я обклеїла її папером з зимової колекції, а далі почала додавати деталі.

На кожну сторону я додала один діжі стамп від Упсі-Дейзі. Чомусь ті дівчатка вікторіанської епохи дуже припали до душі. Тому я вирішила їх додати саме тут.

Над кожною дівчинкою є рамочка з кишенькою в яку можна вкласти маленьке фото улюбленого члена родини або просто якесь цікаве побажання.

Мені здається що така ялиночка може стати гарною прикрасою будь-якого робочого стола, і створюватиме святковий настрій.

Ножку я зробила з бабіни з під стрічки.

Ялиночка-прикраса прийматиме участь в грі Арт Клубу - Новорічний марафон.

My friend and I are in love with C.C. Designs digi stamps from All That Craft. Their Sweet November line is so cute, that I had to purchase this one to have it. Thus, I have colored this Mea Fairy and decided to make this simple magical Christmas card.
